How to Write to Google to Request a Manual SERP Review to Prevent Your Website from Penalty or Blacklisting
Attn Google Bug Hunters:
I am writing you today to document a concerning increase in SERPs which occured without any search engine optimization made - neither an on-page content strategy based around strategic keyword phrases, nor an off-page link building effort. Our objective is to formally report our observation of a concerning increase in organic visibility with the end goal of preventing any potential for manual penalty or blacklisting.
Our understanding is that we now have front page visibility, appearing in organic SERPs for the following keywords:
-
-
-
-
- , etc.
We respectfully request a manual review of our website’s organic visibility, as our concern is that a hacker or bad actor has manually exploited a _____________ in google’s database, which could result in manual action by Google, and ultimately blacklisting to our website.
We adhere to, and strive to follow all of Google’s rules and best practices. We have not engaged anyone to obtain front page visibility by any means whatsoever. Additionally, no search engine optimization effort has been made which would warrant such an improvement in SERP visibility - neither an on-page addition of content and/or content strategy, nor an off-page effort of obtaining valuable backlinks.
Please contact us at your earliest convenience if necessary. We would value and appreciate confirmation that our self-reporting is sufficient enough to avoid any penalty or manual action by Google. Our visibility in your search engine is paramount to our ongoing success, and we are committed to following Google’s rules, as well as making changes to our website adjustments in order to stay and remain in good standing with our company.
Sincerely,
